20.05-13.06.2014

The situation in country caused by floods was very complex, there were heavy rainfall and landslides (moving minefields and destroy markings).

Many cities in the North-East of the country were under water or mud. Thousands of buildings were flooded. In the beginning of mission water levels were slowly declining, but the situation was still critical because of numerous landslides which made houses collapse and closed road communication. Rescue teams evacuated endangered population with the assistance of helicopters.  Persons who lost their homes left their villages on foot heading to nearby towns. The most critical situation was at: Slavonski Brod, Bijeljina, Domaljevac, Brčko, Odžak, Orašje, Šamac, Topčić polje.
