The Estonian Rescue Board is a government institution under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of the Interior, which has the leading role in planning preparedness for emergencies and the operational management of Regional Rescue Centres.

Fire and Rescue Department under the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania
The Fire and Rescue Department under the Ministry of the Interior is responsible for the protection of people, property and environment in case of emergencies. In addition, it is in charge of fire and emergency prevention. The FRD is an independent body of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania.

State Fire and Rescue Service of Latvia
The State Fire-fighting and Rescue Service is a State administrative institution under the supervision of the Ministry of the Interior which implements: State policy in the field of fire safety, fire-fighting and civil protection; supervises compliance with the fire safety requirements specified in regulatory enactments; co-ordinates the activities of fire safety, fire-fighting and rescue services established by institutions, organizations, commercial companies and local governments, and voluntary fire-fighter organizations which activities are related to fire safety and fire-fighting.

European Civil Protection

EUTAC (European Technical Assistance Cooperation)
EUTAC is a project of the German Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V. (The Johanniter International Assistance) and Cyprus Civil Defense developing a Technical Assistance and Support Team for an assistance of EU civil Protection interventions. The EUTAC project is co-funded by the European Commission, Civil Protection Mechanism, Preparatory Action 2008.
